Australian Captital Territory
Canberra, the capital of Australia, is located in the Australian Capital
Territory. This small territory, situated in the state of N.S.W. is
surrounded by many tourist spots in the scenic Southern Highlands of
New South Wales. It is the gateway to the Snowy Mountains and the fantastic
skiing areas around Mt. Koscuisko. The city is surrounded by many beautiful
guest houses offering the tourist a chance to see this beautiful region.
The Capital is home to 300,000 Australians, and as the climate is very
seasonal the locals throw a festival to celebrate each of them. It's
a fun place to visit and should be included in every Australian itinerary.
